Two Syracuse players earned Atlantic Coast Conference weekly honors after their performances Saturday in a 40-37, double-overtime win against North Carolina.

Seniors Ryan Guthrie and Jamal Custis were named the conference linebacker and receiver of the week, respectively.

Custis caught seven passes for 162 yards and a 25-yard touchdown in the first overtime. Custis leads all SU receivers in yards (592) and touchdowns (four).

Guthrie racked up 12 tackles (nine solo), including an 11-yard tackle for loss. He also recovered a fumble forced by Andre Cisco.

The Orange stays home this weekend, hosting No. 22 North Carolina State at 7 p.m. on Saturday. A win would make Syracuse bow eligible for the first time since 2013.
