Class of 2018 wide receiver Ed Hendrix commits to Syracuse

Class of 2018 wide receiver Ed Hendrix committed to Syracuse on Wednesday via Twitter.

At Woodson (D.C.) High School, Hendrix was graded three stars by 247sports.com. The 6-foot-3, 185 pound wideout chose the Orange over offers from conference rivals like Louisville, Clemson and Virginia Tech, as well as Michigan State, Wisconsin and Arkansas, among others. Hendrix boasts a 4.40 second 40-yard dash, per his Hudl.com profile, along with bench pressing 210 pounds and squatting 375.



At Woodson, Hendrix played alongside SU linebacker commit, Juan Wallace, who recently transferred to IMG Academy in Florida for his senior season.

Hendrix is the 15th player in Dino Babers 2018 recruiting class, and is the fourth receiver, joining Anthony QueeleyTaj Harris and Cooper Lutz. Track the rest of the Class of 2018 here.
