Ted Cruz and Donald Trump to campaign in Syracuse

Republican presidential candidates Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Donald Trump will visit Cicero and Syracuse, respectively, this weekend to campaign ahead of the New York state primary on April 19.

Cruz will hold a rally on Friday at the Center Court in Driver’s Village in Cicero, which is about a 16-minute drive from Syracuse, according to Syracuse.com. The rally will begin at 2 p.m., and the event is free and open to the public, so no tickets are needed.

Following Cruz, business mogul Trump will hold his campaign rally on Saturday at The Oncenter Complex Convention Center, according to Syracuse.com. The event is set to start at noon, with doors opening at 9 a.m.

Those who wish to attend Trump’s rally on Saturday are asked to RSVP for free tickets through his campaign website. Each person is limited to two tickets.

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) held his campaign rally in The Oncenter on Tuesday. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Ohio Gov. John Kasich also visited Syracuse as a part of their campaigns on April 1 and April 8, respectively.
