Steve Ishmael suffered an upper-body injury and won't return to the game against CMU.
Syracuse wide receiver Steve Ishmael will not return against CMU after suffering an upper-body injury, SU Athletics announced.
The sophomore had the biggest play of the day on a 62-yard reception. He was dragged down just short of the end zone.
It is unclear when Ishmael suffered his injury, or the extent to which he is hurt. Starting quarterback Eric Dungey also left the game after taking a hit to the head in the second quarter.
