Former Syracuse running back Adonis Ameen-Moore charged with possession of marijuana

Former Syracuse running back Adonis Ameen-Moore, a senior at SU, was charged with possession of marijuana this past weekend, the Syracuse Police Department confirmed. Syracuse.com reported the news earlier Wednesday morning.

The 22-year-old was seen early Sunday morning on South Clinton Street with around $15 of marijuana in a plastic bag in his right hand, according to Syracuse.com.

He’ll appear in City Court on April 16 after being charged with a violation classified as an unlawful possession of marijuana, per Syracuse.com.

Ameen-Moore totaled 511 yards on 109 carries in his four-year career, including a career-high 337 yards in his senior campaign.
