Robinson, who attends Champagnat Catholic (Florida) School, is the fourth member of Syracuse’s Class of 2015 to step out of his verbal commitment. Four-star cornerback Davante Davis, three-star outside linebacker Daiquan Kelly and three-star outside linebacker Doyle Grimes are the other three.

Robinson has other offers from Cincinnati, Kentucky, Central Florida and Utah, according to Scout.com. His main recruiter was wide receivers coach George McDonald, whom he said was influential in his decision to initially pick SU.

Robinson’s decision leaves the Orange with 21 verbal commits in the Class of 2015. SU has not received a verbal commitment since Aug. 25 and has lost three in that span.
