Parking will be prohibited on certain streets on Saturday because of the Final Four

Parking in certain areas near campus and in downtown Syracuse will be prohibited on Saturday due to the men’s basketball team’s Final Four game.

There will be no parking allowed on Saturday in the following areas near the Syracuse University campus, according to the Syracuse Police Department:

  • 700-900 blocks of University Avenue
  • 600 block of Walnut Avenue
  • 100 block of Walnut Place
  • 1000 block of Harrison Street

Depending on pedestrian traffic, Walton Street and streets near the 1000 block of Harrison Street could also be closed at times. The 100-200 blocks of Walton Street will be closed downtown, as will the 300-400 blocks of both South Franklin and South Clinton streets.

The men’s basketball team will play against North Carolina in the Final Four on Saturday night, with tip-off scheduled for 8:49 p.m.
