The announcement came after parts of upstate New York received more than a foot of snow in the past 24 hours.

Friday’s Bandersnatch concert has been canceled due to inclement weather, University Union said in a post on Instagram. Freddie Gibbs and Pink Siifu were set to take the stage at 8 p.m. in Goldstein Auditorium.

In the post, UU said those who purchased tickets, which were $5 for students and $10 for staff and faculty, should “stand by for information regarding ticket refunds.” UU also said in an email to press that it is working on “potentially rescheduling,” but this is all the information UU can provide at this time.

Parts of upstate New York received over a foot of snow in the past 24 hours, and Syracuse University suspended in-person operations after 5 p.m. on Thursday and before 10 a.m. on Friday. Classes after 10 a.m. on Friday resumed as planned.

“University Union will continue to dedicate all possible resources towards bringing the best acts in entertainment to the student body,” UU said in the post.
