Sir Paul McCartney is coming back to Syracuse, and concertgoers should expect another fiery performance.

On Saturday, June 4 at 8 p.m., the former Beatle will take the stage in the Carrier Dome as a part of his “Got Back Tour,” which features 14 shows in 13 cities across the U.S.

Tickets go on sale to the public on Feb. 25 at 10 a.m. American Express Card Members will have early access to ticket purchase, with ticket sales opening on Feb. 22 at 10 a.m.

This will be McCartney’s first performance in the Dome since his 2017 concert, when the musician literally set the stage on fire.

“I said at the end of the last tour that I’d see you next time. I said I was going to get back to you, Well, I got back!” McCartney tweeted.

Pete Sala, Syracuse University’s vice president and chief facilities officer, discussed the significance of bringing McCartney back to Syracuse.

“As I mentioned when Paul McCartney came to town in 2017, it’s an honor,” Sala said. ”It’s an unbelievable moment to bring him to the Syracuse University campus.”
