People throughout Syracuse were arrested for crimes including littering and assault this week.

Here is a round up of crimes that happened near Syracuse University this past week, according to police reports.

Assault

A Syracuse man, 31, was arrested on the charges of second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

When: Saturday at 8:40 a.m.

Where: 700 block of Ash Street



 

Criminal contempt

A Syracuse man, 23, was arrested on the charge of criminal contempt in the second degree.

When: Saturday at 2:10 p.m.

Where: 600 block of East Division Street

 

Menacing 

A Syracuse boy, 17, was arrested on the charge of menacing in the second degree.

When: Saturday at 5:55 p.m.

Where: 600 block of Highland Street

 

Petit larceny

A Syracuse man, 27, was arrested on the charges of petit larceny and second-degree false impersonation.

When: Saturday at 11:49 p.m.

Where: 100 block of Lodi Street

 

Unlawful possession of cannabis

A Syracuse woman, 24, was arrested on the charge of unlawful possession of cannabis.

When: Friday at 1 p.m.

Where: 700 block of Oswego Street

 

Possession of synthetic cannabis

A Syracuse man, 48, was arrested on the charge of possession of synthetic cannabis.

When: Friday at 1:25 p.m.

Where: 100 block of Dickerson Avenue

 

Criminal possession of cannabis

A Syracuse woman, 24, was arrested on the charges of fifth-degree criminal possession of cannabis and unlawful possession of cannabis.

When: Friday at 6:28 p.m.

Where: 200 block of Putnam Street

 

Littering

A Syracuse man, 28, was arrested on the charge of littering and dumping.

When: Friday at 9:33 p.m.

Where: 200 block of South Salina Street

 

Grand larceny

A Syracuse woman, 32, was arrested on the charge of grand larceny in the fourth degree.

When: Friday at 5:14 p.m.

Where: Destiny USA

 

Possession of open container

A Syracuse man, 51, was arrested on the charge of possession of an open container.

When: Thursday at 5:59 p.m.

Where: 200 block of East Colvin Avenue

 

Endangering the welfare of a child

A Syracuse man, 34, was arrested on the charges of first-degree criminal contempt and the endangerment of the welfare of a child.

When: Thursday at 2:40 a.m.

Where: 1900 block of Bellevue Avenue

 

Trespassing

A Cicero man, 65, was arrested on the charges of trespassing and unlawful possession of cannabis.

When: Thursday at 1:50 a.m.

Where: 900 block of State Street
