Syracuse free safety Andre Cisco and kicker Andre Szmyt were named to the Walter Camp Football Foundation’s All-American teams Thursday.

Szmyt, a redshirt freshman who stormed college football and won the Lou Groza Award, was named to the first team. He led the country with 28 field goals made, also an Atlantic Coast Conference record.

Cisco, a true freshman out of IMG Academy (Florida), finished the regular season tied for first in the country with seven interceptions. He also tallied 51 total tackles.

The pair of freshman will travel south with SU as the No. 20 Orange (9-3, 6-2 ACC) take on No. 16 West Virginia (8-3, 6-3 Big 12) in the Camping World Bowl on Dec. 28 in Orlando, Florida.
