Syracuse won three-straight games in Cancun over Thanksgiving weekend to bring its winning streak to five in a row.

Syracuse (6-1) is now ranked No. 12 in this week’s AP Top 25 poll released on Monday. SU moved up two spots from last week’s posting following three-straight wins in the Cancun Challenge.

On Nov. 22, the Orange toppled Kansas State, 70-61. A day later, SU demolished Princeton, 92-61. On Nov. 24, Tiana Mangakahia scooped a buzzer-beater in overtime to beat then-No.16 DePaul, 83-81. Syracuse has now won five straight, including two wins against ranked opponents, since losing by a bucket to then-No.3 Oregon in Eugene on Nov. 10.

Four other Atlantic Coast Conference teams cracked the Top 25: No. 1 Notre Dame, No. 5 Louisville, No. 13 North Carolina State and No. 21 Miami. Three other ACC teams — Virginia Tech, North Carolina and Florida State —received votes.

Syracuse travels to No. 20 Minnesota (5-0) on Nov. 29 for the ACC/Big 10 Challenge.
