Kramer Cook, a Syracuse football staff member since 2016, has been promoted to director of recruiting operations, SU Athletics announced Thursday in a press release.

“He’s worked his way up and has earned this opportunity,” Dino Babers said in the release. “I’m excited about the direction of our recruiting department.”

Cook joined the Orange in 2016 as a recruiting quality control assistant before being elevated to an assistant director of recruiting. Previously, Cook made stops at Coastal Carolina and Robert Morris.

Syracuse brought in the 54th and 50th ranked recruiting classes in 2017 and 2018, respectively.

The Orange plays at Pittsburgh on Saturday for a 12:20 p.m. kickoff.
