Four Syracuse players, Dylan Donahue, Brandon Mullins, Warren Hill and Tim Barber were selected in the Major League Lacrosse Draft on Friday afternoon. Donahue and Mullins were both picked in the top 10 picks.

Donahue, an attack, was taken with the second overall pick in the first round by the Charlotte Hounds. Mullins, a defender, was taken later in the first round by the Boston Cannons with the ninth overall pick. Hill, a senior goalie, was selected in the fifth round by the Atlanta Blaze with the 36th pick. Barber was taken with the 48th pick by the Denver Outlaws in the sixth round.

After Duke midfielder Myles Jones was selected first overall, Donahue was next off the board. He was named a United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association first-team preseason All-American in December after a junior season in which he was named to the third team. Donahue led Syracuse with 50 goals last season and ranked second on the team with 71 points. He enters 2016 with the second-longest active goal-scoring streak in the nation.

Mullins was also named a USILA first-team preseason All-American last month. He led Syracuse with 14 caused turnovers last year, earning him first-team All-American and All-Atlantic Coast Conference honors. The senior ranks fifth in program history with 45 career caused turnovers.

Hill transferred from Onondaga Community College after his sophomore season. As a junior, he backed up Bobby Wardwell and played in just six games last season. In just over 86 minutes played, Hill recorded 20 saves and allowed 19 goals.

Barber, like Hill, spent two seasons at Onondaga Community College before transferring to SU before his junior season. He played in 15 games last season, 12 with the second-line midfield and three starts on attack. Barber scored in 10 of his final 12 games in 2015 while totaling 11 goals and six assists on the year. The West Genesee (New York) High School graduate was a two-time junior college All-American and helped the Lazers to two national titles and a 35-0 record in his time at OCC.
