Yogurtland on Marshall Street to permanently close

Yogurtland on Marshall Street is closing Dec. 19, according to the store's Facebook page.

The Yogurtland on Marshall Street will be permanently closing later this month.

A Yogurtland employee confirmed Wednesday night that the frozen yogurt store will be closing for good come Dec. 19 – and not just for the winter season.

A caption on a post on the Yogurtland Syracuse University Facebook page reads: “Sadly, the rumors are true. Yogurtland Syracuse will be closing our doors onDecember 19th. Thanks for the love from our loyal SU community fans. Come take advantage of our goodbye special.”

Yogurtland, a  Fullerton, Calif.-based chain, opened on Marshall Street in August 2012. It replaced Brickstone Eatery at 147 Marshall St. and is open daily from noon to 11 p.m.
