Jordan Fredericks is out for the rest of Syracuse's game against Clemson with an upper-body injury.

Freshman running back Jordan Fredericks will not return for Syracuse against No. 1 Clemson due to an upper-body injury, per the game’s ABC television broadcast.

Fredericks had 47 rushing yards on five carries against the Tigers before being declared out late in the second quarter. At the time, the Orange (3-6, 1-4 Atlantic Coast) trailed Clemson (9-0, 6-0) 28-17 in the Carrier Dome.

Fredericks is SU’s leading rusher on the season and entered Saturday’s game with 426 yards and three touchdowns on 82 carries. At halftime, Syracuse trails Clemson 31-17.
