Syracuse tight end Josh Parris reacts to the Orange fans after making a catch against No. 8 Louisiana State on Sept. 26.

Coming off the bye week on Saturday when Syracuse football (3-1, 1-0 Atlantic Coast) plays South Florida, the Orange starts a long road toward the end of the season. The team returns injured quarterback Eric Dungey and hybrid Ervin Philips. But will the pair be enough to help propel Syracuse to enough wins in a schedule that features road games against South Florida, Virginia, Louisville, North Carolina State and home games against Pittsburgh, Boston College and Clemson?

Syracuse needs to win three of those games to meet the six-win minimum for bowl eligibility.
