Syracuse will open the regular season against Lehigh on Nov. 13 at the Carrier Dome, SU Athletics announced in a tweet Thursday morning.

The last time the Orange faced the Mountain Hawks was Dec. 31, 1931 when SU won, 34-17. Syracuse owns a 3-0 all-time series advantage, with the other two wins coming in January 1931 and March 1923.

Lehigh went 16-14 in 2014-15, with a 10-8 conference record in the Patriot League. In last season’s opener, the Orange topped Kennesaw State, 89-42, in the 2K Classic.

Head coach Jim Boeheim is entering his 40th season at the helm of SU, which is coming off an 18-13 season in which the university self-imposed a one-year postseason ban.
