Cuneo: Bucket list outlines summer goals

Goals are important, not just in soccer, but in life. We need things to drive us to achieve what we didn’t think we were capable of. Without listening to my motivational speech specially recorded by Eeyore from “Winnie the Pooh” every morning, I don’t think I would ever get any work done.

Every summer needs a bucket list, and since the Morgan Freeman/Jack Nicholson movie didn’t suffice, I must share with you my own. So here goes:

-Count all 500 days of summer
-Find out what happened in Benghazi
-Go skinny double dipping
-Listen to “Summertime Sadness” when I’m happy

-Start a three-month water balloon turf war with the state of Massachusetts
-Get a spray tan over a real tan
-Eat Raisin Bran with sunglasses on
-Find a beached whale and un-beach it
-Finish a bag of Big League Chew by myself
-Create a Jurassic Park
-Watch every blockbuster

-Revive Blockbuster
-Throw up at the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest
-Avoid all “Game of Thrones” spoilers on Twitter
-Climb to the top of Super Mario Kart’s Choco Mountain
-Destroy a sandcastle city dressed as Godzilla
-Make a Treehouse of Horror
-Listen to “Fireflies” by Owl City while staring at fireflies

-Dress up in Will Smith’s army uniform from “Independence Day” on the Fourth of July
-Make a lemonade stand
-Take the lemonade stand public
-Shut Up and Dance

-Road trip across my couch
-Slip
-N
-Slide
-Get good enough at archery to become an Avenger
-Make S’mores with Mandy Moore
-Create a school for ants
-Go to an EDM concert
-Help Cedric Gervais find Molly
-Go to the drive-in movie theater from “Grease”
-Become a T-Bird
-Become a Pink Lady
-Think Out Loud
-Listen to the Police’s “Message In A Bottle” while staring wistfully into the ocean

-Raid a blanket fort; claim it as my own
-Plan a trip to Six Flags
-Back out of the trip because you’re scared
-Find that Fault in Our Stars
-Watch the sunrise
-Realize you don’t get enough sleep
-Go to a lake
-Avoid getting killed by Jason Voorhees
-Listen to 5 Seconds of Summer for the time allotted
