Former Syracuse outside linebacker Cameron Lynch signed with the St. Louis Rams Saturday night, as first reported by The Post-Standard’s Stephen Bailey.

Lynch was a captain in his senior year and started the last two years for the Orange. He led Syracuse in tackles in 2014 with 97, 12 of which were for a loss. He also recorded seven sacks and was named third-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference by Phil Steele. As a junior, he had 69 tackles and four sacks.

Lynch was the fifth former Syracuse player to sign as an undrafted free agent on Saturday. This is the first year since 2008, and second since 1975, that Syracuse hasn’t had a player selected in the NFL Draft.

Safety Durell Eskridge signed with the New York Jets, defensive tackle Eric Crume signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Dyshawn Davis signed with the Washington Redskins and Sean Hickey signed with the New Orleans Saints.
