Syracuse opens up 2015 schedule with 4 home games

Syracuse football will host the first four games to open up its 2015 schedule, which was announced on Thursday morning.

The Orange gets Rhode Island, Wake Forest, Central Michigan and Louisiana State before its bye week.

The LSU game is the first in a home-and-home series with the Tigers, while hosting CMU comes just a season after traveling to play the Chippewas on the road.

After a road matchup with South Florida on Oct. 10, the Orange plays at Virginia a week later. Syracuse will also travel to Florida State on Oct. 31, Louisville on Nov. 7 and and North Carolina State two weeks after that.

After opening Atlantic Coast Conference play on Week 2 against the Demon Deacons, the Orange will host Pittsburgh on Oct. 24, Clemson on Nov. 14 and finish the regular season with Boston College on Nov. 28.



Syracuse will only have one bye week next season after having two open weeks this past season.
