Third listening meeting about SU’s sexual assault services set for Oct. 27

The third listening meeting to address the new sexual assault resources structure at Syracuse University will be on Oct. 27, SU announced in a press release on Monday night.

The meeting will take place from 4–5:30 p.m. in Schine 304 and will be facilitated by the Maxwell School’s Program for the Advancement of Research on Conflict and Collaboration.

Senior Vice President and Dean of Student Affairs Rebecca Reed Kantrowitz and members of the Chancellor’s Workgroup on Sexual Assault Prevention, Education and Advocacy are encouraging attendees to come to the meeting with the workgroup’s two goals in mind, according to the release.

The workgroup’s goals are to explore critical gaps in service and support within the new structure and to recommend ways to improve campus culture relating to sexual and relationship violence, according to the release.
