Syracuse, South Florida to play home-and-home series

Syracuse will play South Florida in a home-and-home series starting in 2015, SU Athletics announced in a press release on Tuesday.

The Orange will travel to Tampa, Florida on Oct. 10 of next year and will host the Bulls on Sept. 17 in 2016.

USF leads the all-time series 6-2. The last time the two teams met they were members of the Big East, and the Orange won 37-36 on a last-minute touchdown drive during the 2012 season.

This game also rounds out the nonconference schedule for 2015. SU hosts Rhode Island on Sept. 5 and Central Michigan on Sept. 19 before playing Louisiana State at the Carrier Dome on Sept. 26.
