The New York Giants selected Jay Bromley 10 picks into the third round of the NFL Draft on Friday night. He'll join former Syracuse players Ryan Nassib and Justin Pugh who were drafted by the Giants last year.

Former Syracuse defensive tackle Jay Bromley was selected by the New York Giants with the 10th pick of the third round of the NFL Draft on Friday night.

He was the 74th player selected overall, and the sixth defensive tackle to fall off the board.

Bromley led Syracuse with 10 sacks and 14.5 tackles for a loss in 2013. He was originally projected to be a fringe seventh-round pick, but strong NFL Scouting Combine and Pro Day performances garnered the attention of NFL teams.

Bromley joins wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. (first round, 12th overall pick) and center Weston Richburg (second round, 11th pick) as the newest members of the Giants — who selected former Syracuse players Ryan Nassib and Justin Pugh in last year’s draft.

Bromley finished up his Syracuse football career in December and will graduate from the University this weekend.
