Beat writers predict Syracuse to beat Bryant and advance to 2nd round of NCAA tournament

Kevin Massa isn’t winning 22-of-23 faceoffs. He’ll beat Chris Daddio a majority of the time, but Syracuse has proven it can win without dominating the faceoff X and Sunday will be no different.

Faceoffs aside, this game comes down to one glaring fact: The Bryant defense won’t be able to keep up with Syracuse’s potent offense. For the second straight year, the Orange makes faceoffs obsolete.

Who’s your Daddio?
After Massa burned SU in the first round of the NCAA tournament last year, Daddio may not win more than a handful this time around. But he’ll win just enough for the Orange to squeak by the Bulldogs.
