Hailing from Chicago, Chance The Rapper, whose real name is Chancelor Bennett and who performs under a stage name, garnered critical success from his sophomore mixtape, “Acid Rap.” Released during the summer, it was hot on the heels of his 2011 debut, “#10Day.”

Chance The Rapper also appeared at Lollapalooza in August, and has collaborated with artists like Lil Wayne, 2012 Juice Jam co-headliner Childish Gambino and 2013 Juice Jam indie rapper Ab-Soul.
