Tyler Rouse to play football at Boston College

Baldwinsville running back Tyler Rouse will make his college decision official Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. as part of National Signing Day, and he will choose Boston College, according to the Baldwinsville Central School District.

Rouse amassed 2,977 yards and 45 touchdowns on the 333 carries this past season for the Bees. His standout performance earned him Gatorade New York Player of the Year honors, but his undersized 5-foot-8, 205-frame and heavy high-school workload kept major conference interest minimal.

He did not have a scholarship offer from Syracuse.
