Are you saying Rouse has character issues? I just don’t see that as being true, my kid works out with Tyler a couple of times per week and I have neither seen nor heard anything negative about him. It could be true that his size is the problem but the kid has a heart and drive as big as Texas, it sure would be nice to see him get a chance to prove himself in a big program.

The Ray Rice comparison is a stretch in trying to say that Rice didn’t get any attention from Syracuse. Rice was IN FACT committed to Syracuse until Daryl Gross took over for Jake Crouthamel (and Cantor for Buzz Shaw) and fired Pasqualoni. When Rice got wind of this, he de-committed (he wanted to play for P) and signed on at Rutgers. He also had an offer from Penn State. To be sure, he wasn’t heavily recruited but Rouse’s situation, I’d say, is way more dire than Rice’s was.
