Brittany Sykes’ steal and miracle heave Wednesday gave Syracuse a wild 60-57 win over St. John’s, helping the Orange improve to 16-2 on the season. With 2.8 seconds left and St. John’s in possession on its own offensive end, Sykes stole the inbounds pass, turned and launched a two-handed prayer. Her shot banked in as Syracuse players ran onto the floor in celebration.
