Fans react to news of Doug Marrone leaving SU to coach Buffalo Bills

Ben Schwartzwalder was head football coach at Syracuse for 25 years. In this day and age, we will never again see a coach stay with a program that long. There is more turnover in the coaching ranks, college and pro, than ever before and more opportunities to change jobs and receive more money. Any coach with a good resume will get offers. I thought Marrone put us on the right track and hoped, as an alum, he’d want to stay longer. But with 7 NFL job openings, I completely understand his move.
