Juco offensive lineman Miller gives verbal commitment to Syracuse

Los Angeles Harbor Junior College offensive lineman John Miller committed to Syracuse on Saturday, according to the Post-Standard.

Miller took an official visit to SU last weekend. He will enroll at Syracuse in January and will be with the team for the start of spring practices, according to the article.

The 6-foot-4, 322 lb. Miller played two seasons at Los Angeles Harbor. He is the 10th player in the class of 2013 to commit to Doug Marrone and the Orange.

Miller chose Syracuse over Texas Christian, New Mexico, Nevada and Memphis, according to the Post-Standard article.

The only starting offensive lineman who definitely will not be back with the Orange in 2013 is guard Zack Chibane. Miller will likely be in the mix to take over at left guard.
